Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
CBT is an evidence-based talking therapy used to support people when they get stuck in vicious cycles with their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It deals with current problems and skills to support you with these. Evidence supports that this type of therapy helps people with a number of difficulties.
Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing
EMDR reduces the emotional association with traumatic experiences that we have experienced. It has been showed to help people with a number of difficulties associated with trauma including depression, phobias, performance anxiety and low self-esteem.
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy
MBCT is a powerful tool in helping with depression relapses, and dealing with managing in the here-and-now. It teaches compassionate and curiosity skills, and working with intentions to deal with whatever is present. It helps us step out of "auto-pilot" and notice the unconscious patterns we often experience.
